Rafael Bernabeu García

eport (Rafael Bernabeu García) is a Spanish electronic, electroacoustic and cinematic composer working with field recordings, instrumental gestures and synthesis. His music is shaped by a post-production sound practice developed over years working with film audio.

He treats sound as unstable material, stressing, displacing and exposing it to transformation. In his work, edges thicken into texture and tension becomes structure, negotiated rather than imposed.

Each piece follows its own conditions, avoiding fixed palettes or recurring formulas. His music explores how sound retains the memory of its own transformation.
